3. Rev up your holidays at the motor museum
This unique museum is a must-visit for car enthusiasts of any age. The museum’s premier attraction is a modern F1 racing car—donated by Perth’s own racing champion, Daniel Ricciardo.
The museum also has an impressive collection of classic cars and other pieces of motoring history.

4. Throw an axe at Lumber Punks
Channel some Lord of the Rings energy at Lumber Punks Axe Throwing. This is one that will keep the teenagers busy, with ages 14 - 17 allowed when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
The session includes full training on how to safely throw an axe before you battle it out to see who can hit the bullseye.

5. Spend a day at AQWA
Escape from the heat into the wonderful underwater world of AQWA.
Along with the classic underwater tunnel and other beloved displays, AQWA has recently welcomed some new residents, including rescued turtles and Port Jackson shark pups.
Visit on the 19th or 20th of December to snap a pic with Santa while he snorkels amongst his finned-friends.

6. Ignite their curiosity at Scitech
Embark on a mission to Mars at Scitech’s feature exhibition these school holidays.
Kids will get to experience what it's like to travel to and survive on Mars, from packing for the trip to growing food and building a shelter.
The exhibition features 17 hands-on exhibits to keep inquisitive minds busy.

Some kids hop on a plane for the school holidays but if you can’t make it overseas, a virtual reality experience could be the next best thing.
