We were stuck on the side of a highway (luckily with phone range!) 4 hours north of Perth, on a weekend, towing a trailer after a long day of driving to get home - I had RAC on one phone and my farming brother on the other. RAC Roadside Assistance was calm, immediately helpful and linked us to the contracted RAC mechanic. After a few chats to the mechanic team we had help within the hour and were back on track and home that day. Much more preferable than camping in a truck bay with road trains every 5 minutes!

Yeah they are great. If you don’t have it you need it.

My rear tyre somewhere along the line had picked up a nail, as I was driving to work I could feel something was wrong with my car & driving up the hill to work, I could hear the thump, thump, thump of a flat tyre. I parked my car in the carpark & called the RAC. The roadside assistance person arrived very quickly & within a matter of minutes, they had changed my tyre with my spare & I was back road ready again.

RAC Roadside Assistance were amazing! Even on a Sunday it only took RAC under 30 minutes from the I call for help till they arrived to give me assistance. The service was friendly efficient and super-fast.

My husband and I have used this service for thirty years and wouldn’t be without it. The roadside assistance has helped me quite a number of times to get out of trouble when my car has broken down. They are very reliable. Have to wait sometimes if they are very busy but better to wait for them especially when my battery is flat or I have locked myself out which used to happen a lot before the remote. They fix my problem and get me back on the road every time. This service gives me confidence (particularly as I am a female) to use my car around town and on long journeys knowing all I have to do is call the RAC and they will fix it if I breakdown anywhere in Aus. The mechanics have always been polite and helpful and fully qualified in most makes of cars.
