Currently, the extension is available through the Google Chrome store. However, you can also download the extension on Microsoft Edge by opening the link on Edge and clicking on the blue button ‘Add.’ We are looking at introducing the extension on more browsers in the future.

While you can install Chrome extensions on Android, there's no guarantee all of them will work. This is because Google Chrome extensions aren't optimized for Android devices. The extension is not currently compatible with iOS devices. We recommend using the extension from a desktop browser.

We do not track or store specific search terms data, member numbers or personal identifiable information. The extension is triggered to appear when a partner URL appears in Google or on a partner’s website. You can find out more about the privacy policy of the browser extension by clicking on the Privacy Practices tab in the app store.  Please also refer to RAC’s Privacy Policy.

We use your data to form an image of member opinions on particular subjects or on proposed new or improved products and services, this requires that we share within the organisation. Sometimes we will use data in case studies or marketing activity however, in all cases, your data is anonymised and cannot be attributed back to you personally.

To the right of your address bar, look for the extension's icon. Right-click the icon and select Remove from Chrome.

If you don't find the extension's icon:

1. On your computer, open Chrome.
2. At the top right, click More More and then Extensions.
3. On to the extension you want to remove, click Remove.
4. Confirm by clicking Remove.
