Supporting safe, active and engaged communities

Through the Connecting Communities Fund, RAC supports metropolitan and regional community groups who are passionate about leading positive change to enhance the places they live, work and connect in.

In support of our Town Team Movement partnership, local community groups, local governments and Town Teams can apply for funding to make improvements to an area in their neighbourhood. We look for projects that contribute to our vision of achieving a safer, sustainable and connected future for Western Australians.

People crossing road at crosswalk

Safe

Safer roads by encouraging people to slow down. Thus, reducing the chance of injuries and crashes.

Cyclist riding past bike hub

Sustainable

Cleaner and healthier air by encouraging people to walk, cycle, or use public transport as alternative options to driving their car.

People enjoying live music in street plaza

Connected

Enhancing streets and encouraging better planned communities that improve the way local residents move around their community.

Keep an eye out for future announcements on when new grant applications are open.
